Released for the Nintendo 64 in December 2000, Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker is a side-scrolling beat 'em up published by Ubisoft and based on the animated film of the same name. Players take the role of Terry McGinnis, the futuristic successor to Bruce Wayne, as he battles the Jokerz gang to stop the recently revived Joker from destroying Gotham City with a missile-shooting satellite.

• Four Unique Batsuits: Players can switch between different suits, each providing specific tactical advantages:
• Standard: A balanced suit equipped with weapons like the Magnetic Nunchaku, Dark Knight Staff, and Discus.
• Offense: Increases punching power for hand-to-hand combat but lacks defensive capabilities.
• Defense: Provides heavy protection and features special "Dark Knight Shields" to deflect attacks.
• Nimble: Enhances maneuverability, allowing for double jumps and gliding with retractable wings.
• Stages and Bosses: The game spans five main stages featuring various members of the Jokerz gang:

1.      Gotham Air & Space: Boss - Bonk.

2.      Wayne Enterprises: Boss - Woof.

3.      Arkham Asylum: Boss - Ghoul.

4.      Tim Drake’s Laboratory: A short obstacle-focused stage with no boss.

5.      Jolly Jack Candy Factory: Final battle against The Joker.

• Game Modes: Includes a standard Story Mode with three difficulty levels and a Time Attack mode where players attempt to clear stages as quickly as possible.
