DuckTales for the Game Boy (1990) is a 2D platformer port of the NES classic, starring Scrooge McDuck. Players control Scrooge as he uses his cane to pogo-jump over hazards and enemies through five unique locations—the African Mines, Amazon, Himalayas, Transylvania, and the Moon—to locate treasures and defeat bosses. 

• Gameplay: A non-linear, action-oriented platformer where players can select levels in any order to find treasures.
• Controls: Scrooge can use his cane to attack enemies, break objects, and pogo-jump (down + jump) to reach high areas or traverse dangerous terrain.
• Levels & Goal: The game features five main levels filled with hidden rooms, traps, and bosses.

The game allows players to return to previously completed levels to find hidden treasures, such as the golden ring and golden mirror.
