Pokémon Trading Card Game 2: Here Comes Team GR! is the Japan-exclusive sequel to the original Pokémon TCG for the Game Boy Color. Released in 2001, it significantly expanded the original's scope with more cards, two playable characters, and a new island to explore. This is an unofficial full English translation!

• Story & Antagonists: The plot centers on a villainous organization called Team Great Rocket (Team GR), led by King Biruritchi, who has kidnapped the Grand Masters and stolen valuable cards.
• Card Count: The game features 445 cards, nearly doubling the original's library. It includes cards from the Base Set, Jungle, Fossil, and the Team Rocket expansion, as well as Japanese-exclusive vending machine cards.
• Playable Characters: Unlike the first game, players can choose between a male protagonist (Mark) or a female protagonist (Mint).
• World Map: It includes the original "TCG Island" and adds a new setting called GR Island, featuring 16 Battle Masters to challenge.
