As the first entry in the fifth generation of the series, Pokemon White 1 introduces a completely new cast of Pokémon and the diverse, industrially-themed Unova region. 

Core Gameplay and Plot

• Role: Players assume the role of a young male or female Trainer.
• Objective: Travel through Unova, capture more than 150 brand-new Pokémon, and defeat eight Gym Leaders to challenge the Elite Four and become the Pokémon League Champion.
• Conflict: You must uncover and thwart the plans of Team Plasma, a mysterious group led by "N" that questions the ethics of Pokémon training and seeks to "liberate" them from humans. 

Key Game Features

• New Pokémon: The game features 156 never-before-seen Pokémon. Until the main story is finished, players will only encounter these new species, a series first.
• Starter Choice: Choose between the Grass-type Snivy, the Fire-type Tepig, or the Water-type Oshawott.
• Changing Seasons: For the first time in the series, seasons (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter) change monthly in real-time. This affects Pokémon appearances, colors, and access to specific areas.
• Enhanced Battles:
• Fully Animated Sprites: Pokémon are in constant motion during battle for a more dynamic feel.
• Triple and Rotation Battles: New modes that require advanced tactical thinking by using three Pokémon at once.
• Version Exclusives:
• Legendary Pokémon: Access to the Deep Black Pokémon, Zekrom.
• Exclusive Area: Players can explore the lush White Forest, which features rare Pokémon not found in the companion Pokémon Black Version.
